Chris of "Joe's Table for 2" recently stopped into the Irish Pub in Atlantic City for a quick bite of some Irish cuisine. The Irish Pub on St. James Place has upheld legendary status for many years and for good reason. It is the closest you can get to experiencing the old pub feel without a plane ticket to Dublin.
The dining area is dark, yet cozy, with the walls decorated with pictures of some of the most famous Irish descendants (John F. Kennedy's picture is just above our food.)
The staff has always been incredibly nice and a pleasure.
We couldn't pass up their famous "St. James Potatoes". Fries in a homemade brown gravy with melted farmhouse cheddar on top. Truly delicious! Of course you can't go to an Irish pub without at least ordering a corned beef sandwich!
The Irish Pub in AC is a perfect place to grab a bite and a pint. It's a taste of the Emerald Isle, right here in New Jersey! Check it out!
