Chris of "Joe's Table for 2" recently stopped into a new spot in Ocean City called "Drip n' Scoop". This establishment just opened a few months ago and specializes in donuts, pastries, coffee and ice cream. The restaurant has an modern, hip feel to it.
The staff was incredibly friendly. They took their time to explain and identify all of the delicious treats on hand, baked on the premises.
Among the treats that were sampled were a Raspberry crumb cake, donuts with cinnamon sugar, vanilla icing with jimmies and a cider donut, an item that they are known for. We also had 2 cups of their "Cold Brew" coffee. All for $13!
The Drip n' Scoop is cheap, yet a great place to stop in and grab a sweet delicious treat or cup of coffee in the morning. Located on Asbury Ave in between 9th and 10th Streets, the Drip n' Scoop is conveniently located just off the OC Boardwalk. Don't rule this place out when you're looking to take the kids out for some ice cream after walking the boards!
