Ingredients
Soft pith of 1 large bread roll
Wine vinegar - 4 tsp
Garlic, finely chopped - 3 cloves
Basil, chopped - 2-3 sprigs
Parsley, chopped - 2-3 sprigs
Salt
Olive oil- 1 cup
Pepper
Soak the bread in the vinegar and squeeze it dry. Pound the garlic with the basil, parsley, salt and bread to a thick, creamy paste. Add the oil, a drop at a time, stirring constantly. When the oil is completely blended into the sauce, add pepper to taste.
