Ingredients
All purpose flour - 2 cups
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Softened butter - 4 tbsps
Granulated sugar - 2 1/2 tbsps
Eggs- 2
Rum - 3-4 tbsps
Oil for deep-frying
Confectioners sugar
Make a dough with the flour, baking powder, butter, sugar, eggs and rum, and knead for at least 15 minutes and shape each piece into a roll the thickness of a finger. Cut into 2 inch lengths.
Deep fry the little rolls in hot oil, a few at a time, drain on paper towels and dust with sifted confectioners sugar.
